• Island Peak Climbing

We booked our Island Peak Summit trip with Annapurna Foothills in October 2017. We met our guide in Chukhung and hiked up to Island Base Camp and then 1 days later further up to Island Peak. Our whole group consisting of 4 people made it on top of Island Peak. The trip was very well planned and organised. Everything went according to plan. Thank you again Ngima and Ngawa for this great experience. We'll come back for our 7000m challenge !!

  • Trekking Annapurna Trek

I can’t say enough good things about this company. They were very responsive and very attentive to my needs. Our guide, Dawa, was absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend this company as I met other folks that use other companies at work is happy. I would welcome the opportunity to talk to anyone in person it was considering doing the trek and using this company.

  • Outstanding Service -Above and beyond

We booked a short Annapurna view trek. Everything was seamlessly organised including all transfers, accommodation guide etc. We also added changes to our trip along the way (eg. mountain flight) and Ngima (owner/director) organised it all. This was the most enjoyable and stress free trip we have ever taken. We want to come back and we will definitely be booking through Annapurna Foothills Treks & Expeditions again. Their attention to detail and there total commitment to ensuring our trip is a great one is outstanding. They really did go above and beyond. I highly recommend using Annapurna Foothills Treks & Expeditions for your Nepal travels.

  • Annapurna Mini Circuit Trekking

Excellent well organised value for money trek with Annapurna Foothills.Very good pre-trek communication and information from Ngima and trip went smoothly from airport pick up to drop off . Big thank you to our guide Chitra who shared his immense knowledge of Nepal and the Annapurna's with us and made the trek extremely enjoyable and interesting.Fantastic scenery and sense of achievement at completing trek with no delays or health issues. Accommodation and food on the trip were as good if not better than it gets on a trek in the Himalayas and our guide always ensured that we were comfortable, happy and we somehow always seemed to get the best rooms wherever we stayed .Porters were always cheerful which made us feel slightly less guilty about them carrying our kit bags. Highly recommend Annapurna Foothills Treks if you want a well organised value for money trek with a personal touch.

  • Ghandruk Loop

My girlfriend and I recently returned from two amazing weeks in Nepal, and the highlight was this four-day trek arranged by Annapurna Foothills Treks. I can’t say enough about the company and the people who run it. No question went unanswered and no need went unaddressed, from the moment we first contacted them by email (on short notice, no less!) to the moment we returned stateside.Ngima, the founder-managing director, was an incredible help early on in selecting an itinerary that fit our abbreviated timeframe, and then remained readily accessible throughout. (His reliably prompt email responses were a needed salve to the anxiety that can accompany a big trip like this.) He and our guide, Dawa, also met us at our hotel once we arrived in Kathmandu to introduce themselves prior to the trek and answer any remaining questions in person—a particularly nice touch that put me at ease. (An even nicer one: Ngima and his wife had us over for dinner once we returned to the city!)Dawa was likewise incredible. He was knowledgeable (about the mountains, but also Nepali history and cultures), always considerate, unwaveringly cheerful, and genuinely nice. We had never hiked with a guide before this and, as two generally shy people, were a little unsure of what it would be like to spend so much time with a complete stranger—but those concerns quickly fell away after meeting Dawa. He struck the perfect balance between giving us our own space and yet still always looking out for our safety and comfort. Our time in the mountains would have gone considerably less smooth—and been significantly less fun—if we had gone it alone. The rates were more than fair (and there were no unexpected charges/etc at any point). The chosen accommodations were great. The food at the teahouses was delicious. The mountain scenery was stunning. And to top it all off, the transportation that was arranged for us—cars from Kathmandu to the start of the trek, from the end of it to Pokhara, and from Pokhara back to Kathmandu—was all top-notch. The roads in Nepal can be exciting to say the least, but all of the drivers were professional and safe, and their cars were clean, well maintained, and air-conditioned. We’ve been back for less than a week and we’re already talking about a return trip to do a longer trek. If we do, we will definitely go through Annapurna Foothills Treks again.

  • Lobuche East Peak

This is the second time I went with Annapurna Foothills. This time I was with the Citra again as a guide. Before I have gone with Citra to Chulu West. I am very happy for the service provided by Ngima. Our porter named Citra also works very diligently and happily. And Ngawa the climbing guide also very patient to accompany us to the top of the Lobuche. I hope the services provided by Ngima and Annapurna Foothills remain good and blessings for this company.

  • Annapurna Circuit Trekking

This was an amazing trek with stunning scenery and Annapurna Foothills Treks were great to deal with from all the pre-trek planning right through to the end. Ngima was always prompt in returning our emails and was happy to answer our many questions! Pasang always looked after us on the trek and we couldn't thank him enough for his support, kindness and friendship. I highly recommend Annapurna Foothills Treks and will definitely trek with them again when we get to return to Nepal.

  • Chulu West 6419m

Annapurna Foothills Trecks successfully arranged for myself only for Chulu West 6419m in April 2017. Gelju Sherpa, 50 years old, an experienced climbing guide, fully attended me from Kathmandu to Pokara. He climbed Chulu 17 times and was very reliable. He properly arranged the equipment, 3 tens, a 200m fix rope, a 50m mail rope, anchors, 12 gases, etc, and food for 9 days. 2 porters carried them to Base Camp 4700m, High Camp 5100m. Gelju fixed ropes and we lifted a part of them to 5800m C1. On the summit day, I gave up at 6300m, 100m before the summit, because of my age, 67 years old, but I enjoyed the climbing. I almost made it and was satisfied. I climbed 100m higher than the last time, 6200m Island Peak Summit in April 2016. New record! It was a great adventure and memorable trip.Sota Sakai, Japan
